Recent Changes to the FAQ

I am presently writing a book, to be titled "CGI Programming in C and Perl" and published by Addison-Wesley in 1996. Thanks for bearing with me through the recent extended delays between FAQ updates.

10/9/95 -- 11/11/95:

New Macintosh servers added.
More books added.
More information on publicizing your site.
The Boa single-process web server for Unix.
Separate web server listings for IBM OS/2, Microsoft Windows 3.1, and Microsoft Windows NT and Windows 95. Many new servers have been added to all three pages.
An entry on coping with special characters.
Additional VRML browsers. Submission of more VRML material is encouraged, especially comprehensive home pages on the subject.

More CGI programming information has been added.
WebWarrior, a new HTML editor for the Macintosh.
Lots of juicy new information about keeping state between CGI invocations.
