The World Wide Web Index Ver 1.0 NOTE: You will need vbrun300.dll to run the program. It was not included to save space, and the file can be downloaded off many BBS's as well as Microsoft's FTP site (ftp.microsoft.com) as well as Cica's (ftp.cica.indiana.edu). WWW Index is a program that was designed to store Internet Web addresses and descriptions. The program is actually very good for storing any kind of Internet address or command line such as News Groups, Telnet, FTP or any other kind of information. With the WWW Index program, the stored address, name, etc. can be accompanied by a description up to 250 bytes. The program is for those using command line interfaces to the Internet. Installation is as easy as unzipping the files into one directory or placing the exe file in its own directory and the vbx and dll files in the Windows System directory. Features: Http addresses are stored with any description you want, so when you click on the address from the list, your description and the address are displayed. No need to guess where the address intends to take you. Once you have selected an address, just press the Copy button to copy it to the clipboard. All you do from there is paste it into your terminal program after whatever command you use to invoke the World Wide Web (usually "www"). You can modify, delete, backup, and restore your data as well. In addition, addresses can be searched for keywords. The program is provided as shareware.
