We start with the current version at the top, with the oldest at the end. Version 2.00.19: ================ 1. The Reader ignored command-line switches mentioned in OHREAD.DOC and online Help. Now it pays attention. Also, added an /nm switch to force off mouse completely, and a /v switch to find out which version of the Reader you've got. Changed the /b switch to /g (force grey-scale). 2. Added support for graphic files in the Fastgraph SPR/PPR format. These are generated by the SNAPSHOT utility available to registered users. 3. Dropped the "Compile 1, Simulate" command from the Project Menu. While testing another function I realized that compiling just 1 card would lead to a situation in which any other recently-changed cards would be older than the CMP. You would have to keep remembering to do a fresh compile of the whole project in order to bring them up to date. This would be confusing to anyone who forgot (it was to me, for 30 seconds). New accelerator assignments give to open the Simulator, to compiling any changed cards and THEN calling the Simulator. 4. Dropped the accelerator keys for reformatting a whole file and the current paragraph. Best left as menu selections. 5. The simple message-dialog in OH.EXE would not, in particular circumstances, respond to mouse input. Fixed. 6. The conversion utility OH1TO2.EXE (for updating projects developed under Orpheus 1.nn) now comments out any suspect script commands. This permits compilation during subsequent revision without unnecessary warnings. 7. Support for Hercules mode 11 got left out; now it's in. 8. In OH.EXE there was one circumstance where a valid filename for a non-hypertext file would be considered invalid. Fixed. 9. Improved the default color set. See Other Menu->Setup Orpheus->Colors to set up your own. 10. If a project didn't have a STATUS file, as is always the case after upgrading from version 1, OH.EXE would initially load it in ascii mode. This would have been confusing to users seeing their work for the first time in Orpheus 2 -- with the link codes revealed. Fixed. Version 2.00.18: ================ 1. In the Reader, the Simulator, and Help, printing a long card would result in the program being unable to restore conditions prior to the print job. Fixed. Version 2.00.17: ================ 1. In OH.EXE, if you instructed the compiler to compile only 1 card it would ignore this and compile everything new or changed. Fixed. 2. In the Reader, if no CFG file was found the author's built-in colors were loaded regardless of the option setting in the Project Options dialog. Changed the Reader's behavior so that if the option is not selected, and if there is no CFG, the Reader uses the default colors. 3. Fixed bug in the Export Topics List function (Browse Topics dialog). 4. Marking a whole file using (or the menu command) resulted in the card header being affected by subsequent block operations. Fixed. 5. Now you can use unnumbered labels as a form of hiliting. 6. The hypertext compiler should continue compiling even if errors are logged, so you can find and correct all errors in one session. Now it does. 7. All DOC files and the README now end with a ".TXT" extension.
