HOW TO REMOVE Hi, Finance! FROM YOUR SYSTEM ============================================= Sorry you feel you don't need this program. Here is what you do to get rid of it: The files originally installed on your hard disk were: HIFINANC.EXE HIFINANC.HLP FINDLL.DLL HIFINANC.TXT CTL3D.DLL OBJ3D.DLL VENDINFO.DIZ VENDOR.TXT REGISTER.TXT SHAREWRE.TXT UNINSTAL.TXT and, optionally: HIFINANC.WRI and, optionally: EXAMPLE1.FIN EXAMPLE1.LON EXAMPLE1.ROI EXAMPLE1.RND EXAMPLE1.PFP EXAMPLE1.MKP EXAMPLE1.GPM EXAMPLE1.STX EXAMPLE1.BRK EXAMPLE1.EOQ These files should be together in the directory in which they were installed. The default installation directory is "C:\HIFINANC", but any directory could have been used. If you are unsure where they are located choose "Search.." from the File Manager "File" menu and enter "HIFINANC.*" as the file name to search for. Choose the root directory of the installation drive (most commonly "C:\") and choose to search all subdirectories. When you locate the files simply delete them. If you installed Hi, Finance! in its own directory, that is, by itself, you need only select that directory in File Manager and click "Delete". The following files were installed in a subdirectory off of your Windows directory (the directory in which the Microsoft Windows files were installed): RLZRUN20.RTS CABLE.DLL For example, if your copy of Windows is installed in "C:\WINDOWS", then the installation program would install those files in the subdirectory "C:\WINDOWS\RLZRUN20". If no other programs using these CA-Realizer runtime files are in use, you may delete these files and the RLZRUN20 directory. If the Hi, Finance! icons created during the installation are still in their own group (and you have added nothing else to the group) just select the group in Program Manager, and from the Program Manager File Menu choose "Delete". If you have moved the icons to other groups you will have to track them all down and delete them individually from those groups. Please pass your unregistered installation disk along to someone else... maybe they can use the program. The author would like to hear from you about your experience with this program. Where do you feel it is inadequate? Why doesn't it do the job for you? What would make it better?
