SFSMC - SF Scrabble Message Converter Written By Richard Epling This is just simple little program to convert those MSG. file that the Scrabble(tm) Door writes to inform callers it is their turn in a game into .BBS files on a Spitfire BBS. Actually, it just reads the next player's name from the MSG file and writes it's own .BBS file that's a little fancier than the one the game writes. This program requires two(2) command line parameters. The first should be the path to your main Spitfire directory, including trailing backslash. The second should be the path to your Scrabble door, again including trailing backslash. This is so the program can find the files it needs to read and write the display file to the right place. A third command line switch is optional. If you wish to have only .BBS files created, the first two are all you need. If you wish to also have the .CLR files created, you will need to add a B as the third switch. For example, on my system the command line is as follows; SFSMC C:\SF\ C:\D\SCRABBLE\ B That's all that is required. SFSMC.EXE can be in your main Spitifre directory or in any directory in your path. I recommend running this program from your SFINIT.BAT file so it will run after each caller logs off so the messages will be current for the next caller. SFSMC is written in Turbo Pascal 7.0.
