SyncEdit/G History Listing The following text is a listing of the changes and refinements that have taken place with SyncEdit/G. Revisions are listed in reverse chronological order. v1.50 - Jan 1996 o Added user selectable taglines. Taglines can be edited by sysop. o Added message censoring via a sysop editable ASCII censor word list. o Added a file macro that can write the contents of file into the message when the message is saved. o Fixed bug that would sometimes foul message up when the CTRL-Y key was used. v1.20 - Dec 1995 o SyncEdit/G now supports a greater variety of BBS software packages. o Added command line options that make it easier to configure for other BBS types. v1.10 - Oct 1995 o Spell checker and Search/Replace functions are now included in the shareware release of SyncEdit/G. However, a 10 second pause was added to these functions as a registration inducement. The "unregistered" tear line has been shorten to be less intrusive when tacked onto messages, however, it is still present (as it will be until the end of time! :) ). TAG lines are still only active in the registered version of SyncEdit/G. o Added second line to bottom status area. New line displays the most used CTRL key functions. Helpful for new users to get their feet wet, so to speak, with SyncEdit/G. o Pressing the ESC key twice will now bring up the file menu. This is more in line with other editors of this kind. Again, this is designed to make SyncEdit/G more "new user" friendly. o Fixed a bug that would save messages in such a way where TAG would reformat them incorrectly. Under certain conditions, words would be placed right next to eachother with no space in the middle when displayed by TAG. v1.00 - Sep 1995 o Initial release of SyncEdit/G for TAG!
