ZCVIEW 2.1a Wide beta release. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- From Version 2.0 Wide Beta release Would not run the external batch file. Think i got it this time. Wanted to skip the first Tic file in the directory. (FIXED) How to register ZCVIEW, explained a little differently. (Read This Section) ----------- Version 1.8 was a crash and burn,No public release. ----------- From Version 1.6 Cut down on how much of the tic file is displayed. Total rewrite on how ZCVIEW reads the tic files,Eliminated internal batch file. Added the ability to kill tic files that contain some High ascii characters in the beginning of the file description. This can be turned On or Off I added this feature due to some Tic programs will hang up if these are present. If this function is On then it will create a log in your Tic directory displaying which Tic file was removed. Should work accross a network now. Seems it wanted to hang in some cases. Will display the number in front of the tic file display for a count of the tic files in the directory. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Upgrading from 1.6 Upgrading will require you to either modify your existing ZCVIEW.CFG file or by reinstalling ZCVIEW with the C parameter. If you are using a registered version your key code should still work.(You did write it down ?) If upgrading from version 2.0 just replace the .EXE file. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Im still working on ZCVIEW, would like it to display if the current file is inbound when the tic file is on screen. Will have ZCVIEW rename any Tic files that contain the high ascii characters instead of killing them. Any suggestions for ZCVIEW other than where I can put it can be sent via netmail to 1:2205/2 Thanks for your support. Robert Caudill EOF
