	Shred 1.0 may be freely distributed, copied, and/or modified. 



Installation:


	To install shred, unzip shred.exe into your dos directory or other directory in your dos path.


Usage:

Shred 1.0 is used to permanently delete files. Once a file is deleted with shred it can not be recovered with undelete or by any other means for that matter. To invoke shred, at the command prompt type: 

shred <filename>




Note:

	As far as I can tell there is no way to recover files deleted with this program. So please be careful. Send me E-mail and let me know what you think of this program.
