           Welcome to Rand's Tournament Organizer!

     Rand's Tournament Organizer is a database program
written for corporations, charities and professional
tournament managers.  It allows the user to design golf
tournaments, enter players, build the pairings lists, input
scores, and print out player standings.

     Rand's Tournament Organizer had its origins in the late
1980's as a single purpose program written to maintain
scores and provide statistics for a number of professional
golf tournaments.  Out of this, and out of several
iterations of computer programs designed to run tournaments
for golf leagues, came a system focused on the corporate and
commercial tournament organizer.

     Some of the features of Rand's Tournament Organizer are

                        Feature List

     Rand's Tournament Organizer is a full-featured tournament
management system containing the following features:

     1.   Maintains several 1 to 4 day tournaments, at the same
          time, all in different stages of development.
     
     2.   Handles tournaments for up to 9999 players and/or teams
          in each tournament.
     
     3.   Does handicap, no handicap, percent handicap, Callaway,
          Hidden Callaway and Stableford style tournaments.
     
     4.   Builds, edits and prints out pairings lists in a
          variety of different orders including Shotgun Starts while
          allowing for twosomes right up to sixsomes tee-off groups.
     
     5.   Maintains players' scores and can tie-break players'
          scores.
     
     6.   Prints up to the minute Leader Boards standings.
     
     7.   Allows for the maintenance of a members list for league
          use.
     
     8.   Produces numerous useful players lists for viewing or
          printing.
