Major change was in multi-connect support added by allowing each TNC stream to be monitored in its own window. Fixed bug where an invalid COM port selected at startup would cause a CONNECT.LOG file access error message and would not allow user to select a valid port. Receive Window can be split to allow two streams to be displayed on screen at the same time. Split direction user-definable. AutoSplit function added to automatically split the Receive Window when connected to more than one station. Help file amended to reflect new functionality. Menu access keys changed to allow stream-switch buttons to have access keys. New Stream and Window menus added. Entries in CONNECT.LOG now have stream id. added. Program no longer needs DCD line to sense connects and disconnects. Now on-screen display of any callsign connected to stream K (PMS). Port errors displayed on-screen. Main window sizeable. The first version of UltraPak to be usable with TNC's other than true TNC-2 compatibles. New stream configuration added. Number of streams to be enabled defined by the user. Each stream can have its stream-switch character and stream ID defined by the user. PMS stream ID and stream-switch character also user-defined. New stream assignments display window added. Simple script utility added. Scripts can be created, checked for syntax and executed from within UltraPak. New registration utility. Registered user enters a registration number and a key to unlock the unrestricted program. Additional help, including an on-screen window for function key assignments. User-definable date and time formats for screen status displays. Facility to pause the Receive Window added. September 1995 Version 3.0 (beta) released Full personal BBS added. Facilities include forwarding to a nominated BBS, sysop access through a normal Windows environment, and full configurability. "Point and click" interface to reading BBS messages from a screen listing added. Bug in YAPP transfers fixed. Pause button removed and replaced with PBBS button. New registration - callsign is encrypted into the registration key. New MAIL WAITING and WINDOWS resource usage status displays added. All windows except the main window now not resized when changing screen resolution. Extra facilities added to "Message Preparation" window. CONNECT log now user-definable for name and location. Added facility to add a signature file to messages. December 1995 Version 4.0 released Remote mode added. Authorised users are allowed access to certain directories on the host computer and have facilities to upload and download ASCII and binary files. FBB UNPROTO beacon monitoring added. PBBS extended with compressed forwarding and ACK server added. REPLY button added to PBBS allowing automatic reply to a message. QUOTE button added to allow quoting of message extracts in a reply. FBB password support added. New script commands CONN, DISCONN, LINEIN added.
