VERSION INFORMATION: ==================== STANDARD EDITION ================ V1.0 ==== - Initial release. V1.1 ==== - Administrative release to change registration procedures. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ PRO EDITION =========== V2.0 (initial release of the PRO version) ========================================== - Set-up System Administration option to allow a person to control who has access to play while in restrictive play mode. System Administration allows the controller to create user accounts and can impose credit limits on users. New users are given randomly generated access numbers which is their personal identification number (PIN). They use their PIN to buy $$$ to allow them to spin. The bank will not go below $0 in restrictive mode. To gain access to the system administration features you must use a password. - Buy and Cash-in options established for restrictive play modes. - View Statistics has been added to show users how often each symbol position - has been comming-up, this indicates what's Hot and wha'ts Not. - View Player Info has been added for users in restrictive play modes who can see how they are doing. It shows their winnings, dept and credit limit. - Disabled many features while in restrictive play mode. users in this mode cannot simple exit the application or use "Auto-Spin" features. They cannot save a game or recall a game or restart a new game, and they cannot reset the jackpot. This mode puts players at the mercy of the System Administrative controller(s). - Set the wheel background to black instead of gray. - Set the jackpot to start at a minimum of $4000 instead of $2000. - Reformatted the payoff display to be nicer looking. - Added the ability to turn all sounds on or off from a single menu option. - Added many different wheel designs as options for display. - Added the 'Refresh' option to redreaw the screen. This is useful to eliminate the automatic highlighting on winning spins. - Added the ability to save the player's last settings when they exit the program in a normal manner. The next time they load the program their previous settings will be set. This affects sounds, bet and wheel type. - Added $16 and $24 bet values. $16 bets will essentially double the winnings from the $8 bet while the $24 bet will triple the winnings. However, the bet costs are doubled and tripled. The $16 and $24 bets are also jackpot eligible like the $8 bet. V2.1 ==== - Fixed a small bug where counters could not go above 33,000. If this occured an error would occur and the program would unload. To fix the problem the user only needed to select RESET. Now counters can go above 2 billion each. - Fixed a bug where an alert stating "Type Mismatch" would occur for some users who use non United States versions of Windows. Due to currency differences the program would not be able to compute winnings/losses. Therefore, it would alert the users. Now, the problem is fixed. V2.2 ==== - Fixed a small bug in v2.1. The Autospin feature was not reset from testing mode. Autospin did not work correctly in v2.1. The wheels would continue turning without a stoppage between spins. Now, it runs as it should. V2.3 ==== - Added 10 new wheel designs that may be selected, bringing the total to 15 different wheel designs that may be selected. - Added 10 new sound options that may be selected for winning and losing spins. This brings the total sound effects to 15. - Added "Wheel Stop" sounds. Whenever a wheel column has stoped a realistic sound can be set to play. - Added the ability to have the program select winning and losing sounds at random for each spin (Registered users only). - Added the ability to have the program select any of the 15 wheel designs at random for each spin (Registered users only). - Eliminated the need for external BMP files. Now all graphics are internal to the application. The EXE is larger than in previous versions because of this internal graphical control. - Fixed a minor problem where on occassion the wheel designs would temporarily disappear when other windows would appear on-top of them. Now, the wheels designs will continually appear. The only exception is entering or leaving restrictive play mode, you may still see the wheels designs temporarily disappear. - Changed registration and shareware designs.
