I just hate it that such disclaimers are necessary. Using Colorbox -------------- Colorbox sports a very simple and easy-to-use interface. The main screen has a Windows 95 style notebook, with pages for Background, Text, Link, Active Link, and Visited Link. Each of the pages contain three sliders to control the levels of Red, Green, and Blue used. At the bottom of each page is the hexadecimal value currently represented by the sliders. This hexadecimal value is commonly used in HTML color statements. To the right of the notebook is a Sample area, which shows the currently selected colors for Background, Text, Link, Active Link, and Visited Link as set by the slider controls. As the slider controls are adjusted, the hexadecimal values change to show the new settings and the colors of the appropriate items in the Sample area change. In addition to selecting the tab for any of the adjustable items, clicking on the text or background of the Sample area will change which notebook page is active. The other controls are fairly straightforward as well: The 'About' button displays a typical fluff dialog. The 'Reset' button returns all Colorbox settings to their start-up default. It should be noted that these defaults were selected arbitrarily by the author, who is red-green colorblind. Your mileage may vary. Once you've gotten a set of colors you like, click the 'Html' button. This opens a "Copy to clipboard" dialog, that lets you view the HTML text for the colors you've chosen. Click 'Done' to exit this dialog, or 'Copy' to copy the HTML to the clipboard, from where you can paste it into any Windows text or HTML editor.
