WinKaraoke Creator 1.0 README

Last minute info about WinKaraoke Creator 1.0.

In the WinKaraoke Creator 1.0 Documentation:

Installation:  	The documentation says to run SETUP.EXE to install WinKaraoke Creator 1.0.  The OFFICIAL way to install programs is to go into Start, Settings, Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs, Install, and when the program can't find the installation program, choose Browse and THEN choose SETUP.EXE from the temporary directory you unzipped the files into.  Aren't we glad that Windows 95 makes this so much easier to do:)?  Either way, you CAN later uninstall the software from the Add/Remove Programs applet.

Also, I COMPLETELY forgot to mention the MIDI Karaoke lyric format in the documentation.

*To have a lyric begin a new paragraph, place a "\" (without the quotes) before the lyric.

*To have a lyric begin a new line, place a "/" (without the quotes) before the lyric.

Additionally, I have included a sample MIDI Karaoke file, Memory.kar, in this archive.  The setup program won't copy it, though, so manually copy it to the install directory or wherever you want it.  Load it into WinKaraoke Creator 1.0 to see how the MIDI data and lyrics are entered.

And remember, WinKaraoke Creator 1.0 is shareware.  Read Register.wri for more information about registration.  Don't make me put limitations or nag screens into the program!
