The Grocery List is intended to save you time at the grocery store. It requires time to set-up, but after that you simply click on items you will be shopping for and the Grocery List program will print your grocery list in aisle order, based on the grocery store you select. As you create the grocery list, you can add a comment and/or indicate whether you have a coupon or not. The comment can be used to describe an item in further detail,.ie. soup is the item in the list but you want Clam Chowder. The master list of items contains about 200 items and can have a maximum of 300 items. You can have 10 stores with the registered version or 1 store with the shareware version. I have included my Albertson's in the Shaware version. You will need to rename it to your store's name. The easiest way to set-up the aisles for your store is to print an "Aisle Order List" for Albertson's. Although Albertson's aisles will not be the same as your store, the list will have 90% of the items grouped in the same area as most of your stores. Take this list and write your store aisles over the aisles that show for Albertson's. Change the Albertson's store name to your store's name. If you delete Albertson's store, thinking you can add your store, the add option does not work! Update your store's directory by typing the aisles that you wrote on the Albertson's aisle order list. The aisle is limited to 4 characters. I recommend you put a zeroin front of single digit aisles like 1 through 9, .ie. 01, 02, 03... This will ensure that the printed grocery list will be in order. I would recommend that after you have updated the store directory for your store, that you print a store directory in "ITEM ORDER". Put the list in a SAFE place for future reference. You never know when you'll have a disk failure and need to re-load all your software. It would be a drag if you had to scout the aisles in your grocery store all over again. The grocery list is saved until you clear it. So if you don't end up going to the store, all you have to do is add more items to the list and print it again. INSTALLATION: CREATE A DIRECTORY ON YOUR MACHINE FOR THE PROGRAM & DATA, LIKE C:\APPS\GROCERY COPY THE GROCERY.EXE & GROCERY.DAT TO THAT DIRECTORY.
