WinZip - built-in disk spanning (16-bit version) After installing these files, WinZip will no longer require PKZIP and PKUNZIP when working with archives that span multiple floppy disks. NOTE: WinZip's built-in ZIP and UNZIP handle normal ZIP files - these files are used only for ZIP files that span disks. IMPORTANT: This is not a formally supported WinZip feature at this time. Please use this feature only if you are comfortable using pre-release beta test software. REQUIREMENTS: The installation will not work unless you have installed the 16-bit Windows 3.1 version of WinZip 6.1. It will NOT work with WinZip 6.0 or 6.0a. Windows 95 and Windows NT users: you need the 32-bit version of this library. It is available as wzspnb32.exe from the GO WINZIP area on CompuServe and the "Beta" link on the WinZip home page (www.winzip.com). Known problems: there are known problems creating archives with filenames containing some foreign characters. Comments are welcome. Please be sure to post them in the "WinZip Beta" section of the GO WINZIP area on CompuServe (S22) or send them by email to beta@winzip.com. Please do not post beta feedback in other forums or newsgroups, else they may never be seen by the developer. ###
