     General Wong continued to read the last couple of communiques. 
Shadow Leader's comments concerning the direction of the SSFW and
Reaper Leader's sudden transfer from fighter status to XO of the STD
Batfish had left the entire SSFW in disarray.  Both of these
problems made his difficulties filling the XO slot pale in
comparison.  

     The technicians continued to playback the sensor logs from the
Denali's last scan.  
     "It looks like a collection of containers"
     "But what is this coming in from hyperspace over here?", asked
the senior tech. 
     "Well Sir, we think its a ... well ... Star Destroyer, Victory
Class"
     The senior tech immediately hit the comm button and requested
the senior Intelligence officer to come look at the logs.  While
waiting for the officer, he accessed the Imperial Database and found
no record of a VSD ever being sold to the Canadia Home Defense Force.
     "Whats going on?", inquired the officer as he entered the room.
     "It appears we have an escalation in the Canadia sector and its
not in the favor of the CHDF", replied the tech.

I.  Situation

        a.  Friendly Forces:  

                1.  Composition: 

                        (a).  The SSFW Frigate Furious.
                        (b).  Foxhound TIE Fighters
                        
                2.  Capabilities and Mission:

                        (a).  Foxhound Squadron will be flying TIE                          
                        Fighters.  

                        (c).  The Furious' is mission capable. 

        b.  Enemy Forces

                1.  Composition:

                        (a). A Victory-Class Star Destroyer.

                        (b). Starfighter complement unknown.

                2.  Capabilities:

                        (a). A VSD and more than capable of destroying the
                        Furious.  We will enter the sector at a distance
                        and launch TIE fighters to investigate. 

II.  Mission: Foxhound squadron conducts recon mission to determine the
identity of the VSD and destroy rebel supply containers. 

III.  Execution:

        a.  Commanders Intent:  Alpha elements will fly recon for
        this mission.  Beta and Gamma element is available to reinforce
        upon request or as needed. 
       
        b.  Additional instructions:  The IFF coe of the VSD is badly
        needed to determine its source.  Identify it is possible. 

IV. Supply 

        a. Shield generators are still short.  Standard TIEs will be used.

V.  Command and Signal

        a.  Commander's Location:  Foxhound 1 will direct the battle 
        from the bridge of the Furious.

        b.  Communication between elements will be limited.  Therefore, you 
        will only have transmitting capability to pilots in you own element.
