PCLOCK is a "Freeware Program," and is provided at no charge to the user.
Feel free to share it with your friends or colleagues, but please do not
give it away altered or without its associated files. The program is dis-
tributed free of charge as a way of promoting my other Shareware programs.

                         --- PROGRAM INFORMATION ---

PCLOCK displays an analog clock and a monthly calendar on PC/AT compatible
computers with EGA or VGA color monitors. The time and date are set according
to the current system clock. PCLOCK can also be used as a screen saver, if
your main screen saver program has the capability of calling other programs.

Use the DOS command line to select a color scheme for PCLOCK. The required
syntax is "pclock forecolor on backcolor" where valid color names are:

                         black     red
                         blue      magenta
                         green     brown / yellow
                         cyan      white

For example, "pclock brown on cyan" would show the clock in brown on a cyan
background. The calendar will be displayed in a contrasting color, with the
current date highlighted. Note that you can't have the foreground color the
same as the backgound color, and that black is not allowed as a background
color. Also, some color combinations may not look good on your monitor.
Press any key or mouse button to exit the program.

When a new release of PCLOCK is issued, the files are archived using the
PKZIP format, with filenames of the form PCLOCK16.ZIP (where the 16 repre-
sents the current version of PCLOCK). The following files are included in
each release of the program:

            PCLOCK.EXE   The PCLOCK clock & calendar program.
            PCLOCK.TXT   This ASCII file describing the program.
            README.EXE   A handy ASCII text file viewer.
