SSFAXER comes with all components and documentation put together
in a ZIP file. Install in a subdirectory named SSFAXER8. Alter the
SSFAXER8.INI for your comport and other info and simply
execute SSFAXER8.EXE.

SSFAXER can be used in two ways.  The program can be used from a
user interface or in an auto mode completely invisible to the user. 

The SSFAXER8.INI file contains the options you may select with
the Try-ware version of SSFAXER8.

***Screen - Options - Normal or Small
Normal - Normal Window
Small  - Minimized Window(Icon)

***Mode - Options - Manual or Auto

Manual - Use may select Port, Phone Number and Fax File then
         Presses SEND.
Auto - SSFAXER8 automatically faxes the FaxFile to PhoneNumber
       using ComPort.

***ComPort - 1 to 4 with standard IRQs.

***PhoneNumber - The number for the modem to dial. You must enter
Prefix and other information.

***FaxFile - The name of the file to Fax. This may be either an
SSFAXER8 fax formatted file or a pure ascii file.

***LastError - Read Only. The error indicates the success or failure
of the faxing program. A zero indicate success and any non-zero
indicates a failure.

 0 = Success OK
 1 = File is not an FAX file
 2 = Unsupported graphics file format
 3 = User aborted fax conversion
 4 = Bad resource bad
 5 = Fax incompatible with remote fax
 6 = Bad response from modem
 7 = Modems failed to train
 8 = Error while initializing modem
 9 = Called fax number was busy
10 = Called fax number answered with voice
11 = No dial tone
12 = Failed to connect to remote fax
13 = Fax failed in mid-session
14 = Fax failed at page end

PROGRAMMERS can call SSFAXER from most languages by using the WINEXEC
function. By simply, altering the SSFAXER8.INI and calling WINEXEC any
program can be fax enabled.
