How to install Date Reminder?
=============================

Unzip the file REMWIN11.ZIP to some temporary directory and execute the
program SETUP.EXE. The program will inform you about all further steps.


How to install Date Reminder for Windows manually?
==================================================

- Copy 2 files REMINDER.EXE and REMINDER.HLP to the desired directory. 
- Create new program icon in Startup program group and select the exe
  filename REMINDER.EXE in your reminder directory. This will automatically
  start Date Reminder upon Windows startup.
- Create a second icon in any other program group (e.g. Applications). Enter
  the the filename as in step 2, but at the end of the filename, append
  parameter /e. This forces Date Reminder not to hide away, if no events 
  are due (important for configuring).


Program Manager does not close while Date Reminder is open
==========================================================

Since Date Reminder is intended as a reminder tool, it will not close unless
you press the OK button to acknowledge the events due. This is why you will
be lead directly back to the program when trying to close Windows.
