READ 1.4.4 This simple program just looks in current directory for "Quick info files", such as README, README.TXT, README.1ST, READ.ME, LEGGIMI.TXT, LEGGIMI.DOC and others, and FILE_ID.DIZ, then shows it allowing line and page scrolling. You can specifiy on command line any file you want to view, even binary. READ cannot show very large files (more than 400Kb), depending on available memory. Specifying /html option after file name, you can see HTML files. To register READ, send me 2$, and then start REG144 and insert number I will tell you. This will avoid displaying of final copyright message. For further details, press F1 after starting READ. You should place READ in the directory in which you have all your utilities (for example, C:\EXE), and which should be specified in PATH environment variable, assigned in your AUTOEXEC.BAT file. Please note: you may copy just READ.EXE file, because it doesn't need external files to work. **Do you need special options? Write me! I will see what I may do... Luca Cassioli Via delle Rose,1 Loc.
