PKTMUX v1.2e ++++++++++++ PKTMUX is a system that allows a PC to support multiple TCP/IP stacks over a single Packet Driver. This can be done under either DOS, Windows 3 or DESQview and has been tested on many of the current stacks including PC-NFS, PC/TCP, Waterloo TCP, B&W, NCSA and CUTCP. The system and its documentation are held in the self extracting binary file PKTMUX12.EXE. Version 1.2 fixes most of the problems of v1.1 and has many enhancements including the potential for a significant reduction in overheads. There is also support for IEEE 802.3 which should be of use to the UK Academic community in supporting the Rainbow product. V1.2b fixes problems with Windows for Workgroups and certain TCP/IP stacks such as B&W NFS and Wollongong NFS. V1.2c fixes a problem with multiple use of a PKTDRV and improves the interface to Windows applications. V1.2d fixes minor bugs and documents new recommendations on how to run PKTMUX which improve its effiency significantly. V1.2e fixes minor bugs to do with the /i option and mixing applications over one PKTDRV.
