Random Bitmap Generator for Windows 1.0 by Oliver Merk Usage: RAND [/h][/r] /h = this help screen /r = show name of new bitmap The random Bitmap generator is a DOS command line program which will allow you to change Windows 3.x wallpaper. Simply run the program before each windows session. To automate this process, make it part of a batch file which starts Windows. For example, type in the following at the DOS prompt in your root directory: COPY CON W.BAT [ENTER] @ECHO OFF [ENTER] CD\WINDOWS [ENTER] * Your Windows Directory * C:\WINDOWS\RAND /R [ENTER] C:\WINDOWS\WIN [ENTER] [FUNCTION KEY 6] [ENTER] There is a limit of 100 bitmaps accepted in the random pool. Please note that this program must be present in the Windows directory where your Bitmap images (*.BMP) preside. Although this program has been thoroughly debugged using QuickBasic 4.5, the author of this program accepts no responsibility for any damage or data loss due to the use of this program.
