MasterCook PC is a cooking program that combines recipe management and 
nutrition analysis in one easy-to-use application. This Windows-based 
program lets you store and retrieve your favorite recipes instantly, 
scale recipes for any number of servings (up to 999), and automatically 
create shopping lists and nutritional analyses of recipes. MasterCook PC's 
exclusive MenuMaker feature lets you create single-meal menus as well
as meal and diet plans for up to 31 days. 

Other features include an online cooking glossary of almost 450 items; 
a nutrition database of 1650 food items that can be expanded to include
350 additional user-specified items; a wine list manager; and cooking 
tips on yields and equivalents, ingredient substitutions, and spices. 
MasterCook PC is a thoroughly Windows application, supporting multiple 
windowing; fonts, sizes, and styles; and a graphical, intuitive interface 
that's easy to learn and use.

Installation
------------
1. Start Windows on your PC.

2. Use File Manager to create a subdirectory on your hard disk--
   for example, \MCDEMO.

3. Copy all the files included here to that subdirectory.

4. In Program Manager, create an icon for this demo by choosing
   the New command from the File menu and specifying the subdirectory 
   you just created and the program name MSTRCOOK.EXE.

   The MasterCook PC demo is added to your current group and is 
   ready to use.
