TO FOXPRO USER: Everything is here that you will need to understand everything from calling the Windows Help Engine from Foxpro to writing your own HLP file. The files with the names "SAMPLE" were used in building the SAMPLE.HLP file. SAMPLE.RTF - The help file itself. You must have MS WORD or a text editor which can edit RTF (Rich Text Formatted) files. SAMPLE.HPJ - The help project file. This file contains settings for the Help Compiler. One such setting contains the name of the RTF file (SAMPLE.RTF) SAMPLE.BMP - This is a bitmap used in the Help File. SAMPLE.HLP - The finished product. You need HC31.EXE (Windows help compiler) to compile. Simple issue the command: HC31.EXE SAMPLE.HPJ (or name of help project file) All other files were used to build to HELP.APP file. These shouldn't need explaining. Simply edit the project HELP.PJX from within FOXPRO for Windows. Enjoy......and if there are any questions what-so-ever..... please leave them at 71732,2366. Thanks! - Chris Bucher
