Thank you for purchasing Softlink v1.0. To install put the installation disk in your floppy drive and install Softlink from either File Manager,Program Manager or your desktop shell. To install from File manage: change to the drive for your floppy a:\ or b:\ and click on the setup.exe file. Softlink's installation program will have the default directory c:\windows\softlink for installation (c:\ being the drive where Windows lives). You can change the drive to whatever drive you choose. To install from Program Manager: click on the run section
in the file menu and type in the string a:\setup.exe (a:\ being your floppy drive) and follow the same directions as installing from File manager. Softlink will create a program group. Open up the help file by clicking on it and go to the quick start section. Read all of the section and then start up Softlink. Softlink needs the file vbrun300.dll to work on your system. Most systems have this file installed. Should this not be the case, unzip the file in Softlink's directory vbrun300.zip and place it in your Windows\system directory.
