INSTALLING
----------

To install WinID, copy the following files to a subdirectory (C:\WINID is
suggested) on your hard disk:

winid.exe    - WinID program
winid.hlp    - Help file for WinID
bwcc.dll     - DLL for Borland Custom Controls
orderfrm.txt - Order form for registering WinID
readme.txt   - this file


UNINSTALLING
------------

To uninstall, delete the above files (be careful, bwcc.dll may be needed by
another program - rename it first and then be sure your system functions
normally). Additionally, WinID may have created the following files:

winiderr.txt - a log file for Caller ID data errors
default.log  - the default caller log 
winid.ini    - in your C:\WINDOWS subdirectory

and any caller log files you may have created.


TO REGISTER
-----------

If you are on CompuServe you can register online. GO SWREG and follow the
instructions. WinID's registration ID is 4746.

If you are not, simply fill out the order form (found in the online
help or the file ORDERFRM.TXT) and mail that and a check or money order
for $24.95 (in US dollars drawn on a US bank) made out to Midnight Software.
