Description:
-----------
EzDesk is a Windows(R) 95 taskbar notification icon that manages the desktop
icons layout.  There are many times when a perfectly arranged desktop icons
is scrambled by an errant application or an accidental desktop arranged by
name, type, size, or date.  EzDesk can restore the desktop icons layout to
a saved state.

By default, EzDesk maintains the desktop icons layout for each resolution
setting.  The registered version allows the selection of desktop icon layout.

EzDesk offers the following features:

* Managing the desktop icons layout. 

*	Tiling of a selected window to the size of the screen excluding the
	Taskbar area. This feature is available in the EzTask package.
	(This feature is enabled only with registered version)

*	Clearing the contents of Documents Menu.

* Clearing the contents of the temporary location (often left behind by 
  a program that crashed!)

Installation:
------------
Installation of EzDesk is easy. First, copy the files in the archive into
a temporary directory.  Then, right-click on the setup INFormation file
(EZDESK.INF file.. which looks like a text file with a little gear on it)
and choose the INSTALL command. When you're done installing the EzDesk,
you can then delete the files in the temporary directory.  In short, the
installl script simply copies EZDESK.EXE into the WINDOWS directory, places
a shortcut in the StartUp menu, and registers an uninstall in the Control
Panel Add/Remove Software.

*** After the installation, you can start EzDesk from the Start-Programs-
StartUp menu.  EzDesk will start automatically on subsequent startup, unless
preempted by the shift key during startup.

EzDesk can be uninstalled via the Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel.

You can also install QUICKRES the same way.

Instructions:
------------
Single-click on the EzDesk icon in the taskbar notification area (where
the time is in the task bar) to popup the EzDesk menu.

The menu contains the following selections:

Settings...
  >Start settings dialog*

About EzDesk...
  >About EzDesk

Save layout
  Current resolution
    >Save layout for current screen resolution

  Select...
    >Save layout with a specified name*

Load layout
  Current Resolution
    >Load layout for current screen resolution

  Select...
    >Load layout with a previously saved name*

Tidy up
  >Nicely tile a selected window*

Clear
   Documents Menu
     >Clear contents of Documents Menu

   Temporary Directory
     >Clear contents of temporary directory (using the directory
	    specified in environment variable TEMP.)
**WARNING*************************
		Be sure TEMP is truly specifying a temporary directory before
		using the function!

Exit
   >Quit EzDesk
