I. Program Description

Thank you for evaluating Red Dog v1.1. Red Dog, or Acey Deucy, 
is a popular card game played in casinos in Las Vegas and Atlantic
City. This version of the program has online help to get you
started, as well as an Auto Deal feature to run simulations - find
out what the house edge is!
	
To run Red Dog v1.1, you will need a computer running Microsoft
Windows 3.1 or later.



II. Installation Instructions

If you are installing the program from a floppy disk:
	1) Using the Windows Program Manager:
	2) Choose File, then Run
	3) Type [X]:setup, then OK 
	   ( X  is the drive where the floppy disk is located)

If you downloaded the file 'RDOG.ZIP' from a bulliten board:
	
     - Use the latest version of PKUNZIP to unzip the file 
     - You will need the file VBRUN300.DLL for Red Dog to run
	
     1) Place RDOG.ZIP in a temporary directory and unzip it.
     2) After the file is unarchived:
     3) Using the Windows Program Manager:
     4) Choose File, then Run
     5) Type [X]\setup, then OK
	(X  is the directory path where the files can be found)



III. Registration Options

Thank you for evaluating Red Dog v1.1! Select Register from the
menu bar to bring up a registration form. If the Register option 
does not exist, just press the 'G' key while at the main screen.

LVC Software will pay the sales tax for Hawaii residents.

The S & H, and Disk fee is optional. However, if you choose not to
include this fee, you will be sent a registration code ONLY. It 
will be assumed that you are registering the software copy already
in your possession.

There are two separate ways to pay for the program:

	Payment Method II
LVC Software donates approximately one of every seven registra-
tions to local charities. As an optional form of payment, you may
donate the cost of registration to your favorite charity.

To do this, send a photocopy of a tax receipt or canceled check,
written to your favorite charity. The tax receipt or check must 
meet these guidelines:

- It must be dated within the last 60 days.
- It must be for AT LEAST the amount of the price of the 
  software desired.
- The charity must be established. (i.e. United Way, etc...)

Write "PHOTOCOPY ENCLOSED" on the registration form, and send to:

The following restrictions apply:

- The offer is good for only one copy of software.
- The offer does not include the S & H, and Disk fee.
- All submissions are subject to approval and can be rejected for

IV. License Agreement and Warranty

License Agreement
This version of Red Dog v1.1 is shareware. Non-registered users
are permitted to evaluate Red Dog v1.1 for up to 30 days. The 
program must be registered within 30 days, or its use discontinued.

No one may disassemble, decompile, or reverse engineer the program
in any way.

Distribution of Red Dog v1.1 is encouraged, provided that all of
the following conditions are met:
  1) It is distributed only for the trial use of others.
  2) All files are intact and in their original condition.
  3) If a distribution fee is charged, it must not exceed US$6.00.
  4) The program's Registration Code may NOT be distributed.

The following guarantee is only for registered users of 
Red Dog v1.1 who have paid full price for the product, and 
received the program on disk directly from LVC Software.

IF FOR ANY REASON YOU ARE DISSATISFIED WITH Red Dog v1.1,
