************************************************************** ReDate 1.0 (32-bit Version) README file ************************************************************** WHAT IS IT? ReDate is an easy-to-use utility for Windows NT or Win 95 (or 16-bit Win with Win32s) that allows you to change the "last modified" date and time stamp on a file. It's similar to the UNIX Touch utility, except, of course, it's not a command-line program. (Programmers are generally the main audience for a utility like this, and for the most part, they are altering file dates and times for version control.) HOW TO USE Browse for the file(s) you'd like to alter, set the new date and time you'd like the file(s) to have, and press the modify button. FREEWARE ReDate 1.0 (32-bit Version) is yours to use free of charge. I made it largely for my own use, but if others find it useful as well, that's a bonus. Perhaps in return you would e-mail any bugs you come across in the program and your thoughts on how I might improve it. If you discover any bugs, please let me know.
