UPDATES/ADDITIONAL INFORMATION --------------------------------- AutoCAD ------- If you are upgrading from an earlier Video Seven product and have already installed an AutoCAD driver for that product, you should first erase that driver from your hard disk before preceding. V7INST.EXE has been changed from earlier releases where it was called V7INST.COM. If both files are on your disk then when you type V7INST, the old .COM version will be run in all cases. This, of course, is not what you had in mind, and can be solved by first erasing V7INST.COM before running V7INST.EXE. Note also that the V7REL9 now supports a dual screen mode of operation. If you have a monochrome monitor and display adapter in your system along with the Video Seven VGA card you can operate AutoCAD in a mode which uses both monitors. To initiate this mode you only need to type the DOS command: mode mono[cr] before starting up AutoCAD. The driver V7REL9 will take care of the rest.
