TIPS ON USING NOAH'S ARK CUSTOM COMMAND LINES & BATCH FILES

Custom command lines are the most powerful feature within NOAH, and listed
below are some examples that I have seen used frequently.

                       NOAH PLACES
                      THE MARKED SET
      FRONT            HERE FOR YOU         BACK              PUPOSE
__________________     ############   _________________    _____________

PKZIP -a  YOUR.ZIP        #                > PRN           Monitor activity
                                                           of a large batch
                                                           while you are away.

PKUNZIP -t                #                                Test Archive
                                                           Integrity

PKUNZIP                   #              X:\subdir\sibdir  UNZIP to target
                                                           drive & subdir.

XCOPY                     #              X:\subdir . .     Make a special
                                                           NOATMP.BAT to
                                                           allow a series of
                                                           odd-lot copies of
                                                           many files.  Exit
                                                           and rename it for
                                                           later use!

OPERATION:
Need to read a new directory?  SHELL to DOS from MAIN MENU, and then
EXIT back.  The option is given upon re-entry.

Can't recall all the options in PKZIP?  Shell to DOS and make reference
files as follows....

PKZIP ? > PKZIP.OPT
PKUNZIP > PKUNZIP.OPT

And then you can LIST or VIEW those files later, when you cannot recall that
odd option.
