The DeLuxeýác Reader


        This copy of Qmail DeLuxeý is the third beta release revision
        made to the original DeLuxeý release of 09/08.  Four changes
        have been made to this reader system:

            1.  The API has been modified so Robbin Hancock will
                work with this reader.

            2.  This reader now supports 2,500 conferences instead
                of only 255 conferences.  The number of messages
                per conference is still limited to 200 messages per
                conference.

            3.  A fix for the DeLuxeýáb release.  The reader would
                save ALL replies uploaded to Qmail 3.00 (or Markmail)
                systems in the main conference.  Fixed.

            4.  If you use the /F (FIDO) switch inside the reader it
                will no longer leave a "tear" bar in the tagline.  The
                tear bar would confuse FidoNet software.

        The Qmail Door 4.00 now allows users to scan up to 65,535
        conferences.  Previous beta releases of the 4.00 system would
        use the "SET" command to break up these conferences into groups
        of 255 conferences each.  The new 4.00 beta releases remove this
        "SET" command and allows the door to scan ALL conferences in one
        operation.  This new DeLuxeý reader will allow you to read up to
        2,500 conferences.

        We are continuing to fix bugs reported in the DeLuxeý reader but
        we felt it was prudent to release this beta copy to our users so
        they can immediately take advantage of the expanded capabilities
        found in our 4.00 system.  We hope you enjoy using DeLuxeý and
        look forward to the full DeLuxeýa release soon.
