The SPLOT program is started in interactive mode by typing at the DOS
  prompt: SPLOT

  Plot commands can be read and executed from a file by typing at the DOS
  prompt: SPLOT filename

  To see a demo of the types of plots that can be made type at the DOS
  prompt: SPLOT DEMO.PLT

  NOTE: To clear a plot, press the ESC key.

  NOTE: If the demo does not work on your PC then try it again after
        typing the DOS command "SET SPLOT=card/NOM" where "card" is your
        graphics card type: CGA, EGA or HERCULES (use EGA for VGA cards);
        for example, if your graphics card type is EGA or VGA, type:
        SET SPLOT=EGA/NOM
