Installation Instructions ------------------------- The file ENGLRECL.EXE contains, in compressed form, all the files which are required to run ENGLISH RECALL as well as English Vocabulary Volume One. To decompress ENGLRECL.EXE you will need a computer system with one of the following drive configurations: a) 2 floppy drives with one being a low density 3.5" floppy drive (740 K). b) 1 high density floppy drive (either 1.2 Meg or 1.44 Meg). c) a hard disk. NOTE: Due to the large sizes of the decompressed files, if your system does not have a hard disk and you have 360K drives only, you will not be able to decompress ENGLRECL.EXE. a) 2 drives (one of which is 740K 3.5") --------------------------------------- (Assuming B: is the 740K 3.5".) Place a blank diskette in the B: drive and place the ENGLISH RECALL diskette in drive A:, then enter: A:ENGLRECL B: This will extract all the files from the distribution disk in the A: drive to drive B: b) High density floppy drive (1.2 Meg or 1.44 Meg) -------------------------------------------------- To extract all the files for ENGLISH RECALL onto this diskette (note: it is recommended that you make a backup copy of this diskette first) enter: ENGLRECL This will extract all the files for ENGLISH RECALL. If you have two high density floppy drives, you can also follow the instructions given in (a). c) Hard Disk ------------ If you have a hard disk system, copy the ENGLRECL.EXE file onto your hard disk, and then enter ENGLRECL to extract all the files into the current directory. Printing the Documenation ------------------------- To print the documentation files after running ENGLRECL, type COPY *.TXT PRN Running the program ------------------- Once you have decompressed the files, you can run the program by typing: ER Distributing the Software ------------------------- If you distribute ENGLISH RECALL to friends, associates, or to a computer bulletin board system (BBS), please distribute the file ENGLRECL.EXE rather than the individual decompressed files.
