BOWLER - USER Defined
                           =====================

        This Main Menu item allows the  manual updating of the USER Defined
 field that has been configured  in "Options/Defaults". The initial default
 is "BOWLER - 69's", a Candlepin award.

         Once selected, BowlStat will display a blank bowler search  panel.
 Select the field to match and enter the required infromation to select the
 desired range of bowlers. For example:

         If the matched bowler has a value to be entered, press  the  "Y"  and
 "Enter"  or  "Return"  key.  BowlStat  will  then  prompt depending on the
 setting defined for "USER Field Type Actual?" in "Options/Defaults".

 If the "USER Field Type Actual?" setting is "N":

                  º Increment USER FIELD by 1? (Y/N):  º

        To add 1 to the current contents of the Bowler's record, USER Field
 by 1, Press "Y" and the 'Enter' or 'Return' keys.

 If the "USER Field Type Actual?" setting is "Y":

        Enter a number from 0 to 999 and press the "Enter" or "Return" key.
 BowlStat will REPLACE the current value with new value entered.


 NOTES: To  return to the  Main Menu, press  'ESC' escape at  either of the
        above prompts.

        If  no change  is to  be  made  to the  currently displayed  bowler
        record,  press the  'Enter' or  'Return' key  alone. BowlStat  will
        continue it's search for additional matches.
