GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

Find Felix is an adventure game with a twist, not only is
the subject a bit different, but so are some of the
events.

The game requires at least 512k RAM and EGA graphics, but
of course VGA is even better.

You can play the game off of a diskette, or put it on a
hard-drive. Simply copy all the files to the directory you
wish to use and then to start, at the prompt, type Felix.

To move your character use the arrow keys, to stop
movement in any direction, press the arrow key again for
that direction. You will find that there will be places
you cannot move to. There are also "Danger Zones" where
you will not want to go because then you'll have to start
all over again. You'll learn where these are by trial and
error.

To do many things you must type in text, you can type in
commands at any time. These types of games work on input
of VERB - NOUN combinations, and then match your input of
VERB-NOUN to the data-base. Any combination of VERB-NOUN
can be used and will bring a response IF IT MATCHES IN THE
DATA-BASE. If it is not in the data-base, you will get a
message saying "I'm sorry, I don't understand, please try
again". Obviously the data-base does not cover all
possible verb-noun combinations, but here are just A FEW
frequently used ones: LOOK
                      LOOK AT (whatever)
                      OPEN (whatever)
                      GET       "
                      PICK UP   "
                      TAKE      "

You may try any others which will come to mind.

WINNING:

There are two distinctly different ways to win the game.
One way is to Find Felix, if you do, you will then realize
where he is, and a certain ending will take place. The
other way to win is with points. You don't necessarily
need points to Find Felix, but you may need something
else, and you will have to take some chances and have an
idea what is going on. There are subtle hints.


GAME FUNCTION KEYS:

F1 - Help-Screen
F2 - Inventory
F3 - Save Game
F4 - Game Restart
F5 - Game Restore
F9 - Speed Control
F10- Quit

You may collect certain items either by chance or by
finding and taking them, use them as you feel necessary.
This game is based partially on real events and
characters, however names have been changed in some cases.
