Welcome to the What's New file for The*Drums version 4.50. To install this
version on the v. 4.00 or 4.21, remove all the files from your THEDRUMS
directory and copy the new ones into it. You can keep the old THEDRUMS.INI
file in your Windows directory, as the 4.50 ini file will be newly generated.
If you are a 4.00 or 4.21 registered user, keep your THEDRUMS.INI file,
or re-enter the registration license key.


PATTERN REAL TIME EDITING!!!

You've got it! After all your requests, this version now can edit
your pattern while playing. Just click over the worksheet to have
the immediate response from the program. You can also move through
Patterns, clear beats, clear instruments, etc.. while playing!


PATTERN REAL TIME RECORDING!!!
==============================
Fantastic! Now you can record you pattern in real time from ANY MIDI instru-
ment. And, while recording, you can still edit the pattern so you can mix
live techniques with editing fine tuning. Remember to set you MIDI input
device.


MORE ROOM FOR PATTERNS AND MEASURES

The v.4.50 now has 15 patterns and 48 measures. Your old 4.21 files
will be still loaded into The*Drums and will change format upon saving.
