     I  came  up with this Customer Information Sheet a few years ago after
     being scolded by customers about how expensive our  unimprinted  paper
     was.  I  haven't  updated  the  prices  lately, but basically, if they
     wanted a broken package I charged $.10 per sheet for any kind of bond,
     book or text (8 1/2 x 11); $.13 per sheet for 8 1/2  x  14;  $.15  per
     sheet  for  11 x 17; $.20 per sheet for cover stock; and $.15 each for
     envelopes. On the package prices, I charged the paper houses published
     prices  for  broken  carton  packaging. If there was no broken package
     price, I simply doubled the one carton price. The prices  seem  mighty
     high,  but  a lot of time is wasted with the customer who only wants a
     few  sheets,  then  you  have  to go back to the storeroom and break a
     package (after you have found it). You can port this  into  your  word
     processor and edit for your own use by using the file PAPERLST.TXT

UNIMPRINTED PAPER COSTS

          We  are not in the business of selling unimprinted paper. That is
     the business of the paper houses. But, since many have a  rather  high
     minimum  charge,  we  offer  the following prices for small quantities
     (under 5,000 sheets).

          The  below  prices  are  for package quantities as well as broken
     package quantities of  unimprinted  paper.  Both  envelopes  and  flat
     sheets are packaged 500 sheets/pkg.  Cover stock, index and bristol is
     packaged  250  sheets/pkg.  Social envelopes are packaged 250/box. The
     package  or box prices are per 1,000 sheets. Broken package prices are
     per sheet.
