Sort by Day of the Year

This procedure will print a report that sorts the records by date without 
taking the year into account. For example:


          Jan 31, 1908
          Mar 23, 1902
          Jun 17, 1968
          Dec 19, 1957



In this example, the date column is the first column, and it is not sorted! 
Enter a "1" in the date field on the Column/Sort Spec, and enter the following 
on the Derived Columns screen:


          Heading:
          Formula: @MONTH(#1)
          Column Spec: 2,AS,I

          Heading:
          Formula: @DOM(#1)
          Column Spec: 3,AS,I



Application:  Any application that tracks a birth date field could be printed 
out in birth date order.
