NORTON DESKTOP for DOS - FAXBACK INFORMATION
Subject: Norton Backup/Norton Desktop for DOS Common files

There is an overlap of files between Norton Desktop for DOS 1.0 and
Norton Backup for DOS.  The Norton Desktop for DOS files supercede 
the Norton Backup files, and all backups made with version 1.0, 1.1, 
1.2 or 2.0 of the Norton Backup can be successfully restored using
the backup portion of Norton Desktop for DOS.

To retain your previously defined setup files, copy the following 
files from your old NBACKUP directory to your ND directory:

     *.SET
     *.SLT
     *.SAV
     *.BAK

You may then delete the original Norton Backup directory and all of its
contents.
