"Where Did My Lotus 1-2-3 Release 2.x .WK1 Files Go?!?" Many new SQZ! users are alarmed when they can't find their .WK1 files from within 1-2-3 just after attaching SQZ!. This is the way SQZ! works. The .WK1 files are still there; however, when SQZ! is enabled, your .WK1 files are not visible during a / File Retrieve or / File List. Whenever SQZ! is enabled, you will see a "SQZ!" tag at the bottom of the screen. When SQZ! is enabled and the tag is showing, you can only retrieve, list, or save .WK! files; you cannot view or retrieve .WK1 files. When SQZ! is disabled and the tag is not showing, you can only retrieve, list, or save .WK1 files; you cannot view or retrieve .WK! files. To convert all the .WK1 files in a subdirectory to .WK! (or vice-versa), use SQZTOOL2.EXE's Batch option. SQZTOOL2.EXE is only available in the complete SQZ! 2.0 version. If you are a SQZ! 1.0, SQZ! Plus, or SQZ!/Outliner user, you will need to upgrade to SQZ! 2.0 to acquire SQZTOOL2.EXE. To take advantage of the low $39 upgrade price to SQZ! 2.0, please contact Symantec at (800) 441-7234. If you have any questions, please contact SQZ! Technical Support. SQZ! Application Note Rev. 6/92 #7109 Page 1 of 1
