                        Notes on PCFIX.EXE
                        ==================

PCFIX.EXE is a program that patches PC3270.com.  This patch forces
PC3270.COM to recognize a V7 product correctly.  To run the program,
please perform the following instructions:

        1. Make a backup copy of PC3270.COM. PCFIX.EXE will change
           the contents of the disk file when it patches the program.

        2. Make sure PCFIX.EXE is in your current directory, or
           in the path.

        3. Execute the following statement at the DOS prompt:

                DOS>PCFIX [d:\][path\]PC3270.COM

                where:

                        [d:\]   is the drive (optional)
                        [path\] is the explicit path to the
                                PC3270.COM program. (optional)
                        PC3270.COM is the name of the program to
                                be patched.

           The program will run unaided. It will print out the
           following messages:

                        Patching PC3270.COM   1.21
                        Patch made...

           After the patch is made, the DOS prompt will return.
