MicroNets - Ted Freeman - (615) 626-1620 Article by Publisher Michael Gray Two weeks ago I was in Knoxville, Tennessee, and I had to opportunity to meet Ted Freeman. Ted Freeman is a programmer who has written several DOOR programs under the name of MicroNet. Some of his doors include Quizard's Mountian, PegJump, Eliminate, and many others to name a few. Of most importance, is his programming of DoorBill a DOOR manager/menu program. It is one of the most extensive I have ever come across and its not just for a particular system. DoorBill will run on most any bulletin board. Its documentation is a little deep in places but if you walk through it as you install it, it all comes together well. It offers the system operator many features not offered by other door managing programs, in that it even lets you give credit information before and after each door program is run. Of all the features the most powerful is its way it manages ALL DOOR programs so that no matter what the door program you can run it under DoorBill. Sound to good to be true, well I talked with Ted Freeman about his program and then tried it on myself..no wonder I am giving such rave reviews. Syops, if you want to run just about anyones door program on your BBS then I suggest you call MicroNet BBS at the number listed above and see for yourself. It is well worth the phone call.
