9:54 PM August 24, 1992 This is a utility that I copied from PC Computing, Sept. 92 issue. I've supplied the script file that I used to create shiftmod.com, as well as shiftmod.com itself. This was originally created by David DeVere, Pittsburgh, Penn. The program remaps "<" and ">" to "," and "." respectively. You can still the the angle bracketts by holding BOTH shift keys down at the same time. The nice thing about this program is that it seems to hold in all programs (like wordstar, etc.). It does not work, however, in Windows. It takes about 526 bytes of memory. Makes typing in references for bibliographies, etc. less of a hassle, as you can keep the shift key pressed while typing initials. I had to make a macro in my wordprocessor to routinely replace the < and > accordingly, but my bibliography database program does not have such abilities. So, shiftmod.com is perfect.
