************************************** * * * DUPDISK - Just Say NO to DiskCopy! * * * ************************************** I developed DUPDISK because DiskCopy, as we all know, is a real pain! With DUPDISK, an image of the entire source diskette is copied to a local hard disk and copied back out to a diskette. You can make as many copies of the original as you want before exiting. Usage: DUPDISK Example: dupdisk A: C: Notes: 1. The temporary drive must be a hard disk. 2. The media type of the target diskette must be the same media type as the source diskette. 3. If the target diskette is not formatted, DUPDISK will format it. If you like DUPDISK please express your gratitude in american dollars (I'm as hungry as the next fella). Developer: Frank Ray Kinser 1623 Shady Lane Kingston, TN 37763 (615) 376-1984 CIS: 73767,3071 DUPDISK was developed in Borland C++ 3.0 using dLesko Associates' FUNCky II Development Library System. If you are a C programmer, I highly recommend FUNCky II. FUNCky II is a library of mostly low level system functions (con- version, disk, video, I/O ports, DOS environment, EMS, file, keyboard, etc.) as well as some really neat high level functions (graphics support, configurable editor, etc.). In fact, I think Dirk Lesko has done a better job of writing many of the functions already available in the C libs than the language vendors themselves. FUNCky is tight and fast!
