AutoCAD Release 12c1 Corrections and Changes

1.  AutoCAD no longer plots slowly under certain conditions.

2.  Plotter drivers now correctly handle "E" size plots.

3.  R10 drawings can now be plotted with the FREEPLOT command.

4.  The plot dialogue box now handles millmeter values correctly.

5.  The PLOT command no longer plots entities on the DEFPOINTS layer.

6.  Corrected plotter drivers to eliminate plotting of stray vectors under
    certain conditions.

7.  Certain plotter drivers now allow the specification of a maximum paper
    size.

8.  The maximum number of pens on CalComp plotters is now configurable, and
    no longer limited to eight.

9.  Corrected CalComp plotter driver to eliminate plotting of stray vectors
    on large plots.

10. Improved the error handling capability of file dialogue boxes to cope
    with incorrect path or file specifications.

11. Pressing a digitizer button during a MENU command causes no harm.

12. Repeated calls to AutoLISP (ssget "F"), (ssget "CP"), and (ssget "WP")
    functions can now be made reliably.

13. Changed the AutoLISP function (entmod) so that entity data from an
    XREF -- externally referenced file -- cannot be modified.

14. SCRIPTs that use INSERT now work properly.

15. The AutoLISP function (load) is no longer undefined after aborting the
    (autoload) routine in ACADR12.LSP

16. The ACAD.MNU menu now can use PICKFIRST objects for the SELECT command.

17. Activating a large number of selecting sets no longer results in
    excessive paging.

18. Improved the error-handling capability of DDATTEXT to cope with
    incorrect file names.

19. Selection sets are now initialized properly after use of DDMODIFY.

20. ISOLatin1 Encoded Postscript fonts are now fully supported.

21. For the Sun version of AutoCAD, corrected the LOGINNAME variable to
    retain configuration information properly.

22. A 7-bit display driver now correctly rejects 8-bit characters.

23. The SVADI display driver now prevents the coordinate's display and
    status line from overwriting each other.

24. Digitizer drivers' crosshairs control is now repaired, so crosshairs
    don't freeze or become jumpy when editing large drawings.

25. The Hitachi digitizer driver was modified so that older Hitachi and
    Hitachi-compatible tablets are correctly recognized by AutoCAD.

26. For the Sun version of AutoCAD, the RHEXPORT rendering hardcopy driver
    now correctly terminates when AutoCAD is exited.

27. AVE's configuration menu now allows the rendering hardcopy device to be
    reconfigured multiple times.
