  Why This?
---------------

This program was started for the new BBS user to the Radcliff/E-Town and
surrounding area, as an attempt to be a comprehensive listing of valid
Bulletin Boards. As new boards go up daily, this list seems to grow
larger all the time. Starting April 1st, it is now a complete list
of any BBS in the 502 area code. Since the last update, we have seen many
boards come and go. If you find this file to be helpful, please drop me a
line and let me know!!  If you know of any changes, please log on the
National Data Exchange, and make an update.

Please make this file available in your free downloads area. Also, the files
are ready for posting on your BBS, in straight ASCII text.
Please, if you do use it, do not alter it. Please spread this file around to
encourge growth of BBSing in our communities.

 How to contact a Board listed
-------------------------------

You first need a communication program. Many of todays modems are pre-packaged
with your hardware, and come preconfigured. I highly recommend a few programs
to use when calling bulletin boards:

                        1 - Qmodem
                        2 - Procomm Plus
                        3 - Telemate
                        4 - Telix

You should set your software to:

                        8 bit code
                        No parity
                        1 stop bit

These are average settings for BBSs, but may be different for your favorite
system.

Also, some BBSs are part-time boards, so please check the listing for posted
hours, and honor the sysops wishes.
