Ken Deen's THE AGGRESSIVE TRADER(tm) "Seeking double-digit profits in one to four months" SELL ALERT P.O. Box 4791 Vol. 1, No. 110 Santa Barbara, CA 93140 November 16, 1992 (805) 565-2039 1:00pm New York Time CompuServe: 72020,2050 Stock+Options Account (editor's personal account): * SELL all 150 shares United Wisconsin Services (NASDAQ: UWSI). This afternoon just before the close I sold at 30. I had bought these shares at 28 (split-adjusted) on Aug. 12 (see Vol.1 #77). Stock-Only Account (editor's personal account): * SELL all 285 shares United Wisconsin Services (NASDAQ: UWSI). This afternoon just before the close I sold at 30. I had bought these shares at 24 1/2 (split-adjusted) on July 31 (see Vol.1 #73). DESI(tm) Account (a computer-simulated hypothetical account): No trades DESI(tm) Buy/Sell Signals (computer-generated): None United Wisconsin Services, Inc. This stock has been weak ever since an announcement a couple of weeks ago from the company that its taxes will rise next year due to new financial accounting rules. Regardless of the reason, the stock has gotten hammered and much of my 70% paper profit has evaporated. In retrospect, it was a big mistake to ignore with my own money the computer-generated sell signal from the DESI(tm) System. There was a DESI(tm) sell signal on UWSI on Nov. 2. The stock price on that day ranged from a low of 35 to a high of 38 1/2. With 20-20 hindsight, I can now see that that was an excellent sell signal. I'd say there is a lesson here for me! Even so, I came out ahead with profits of 7% and 22% in less than 4 months. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- *** To all who download this newsletter *** I invite you to send me your CompuServe ID to receive these alerts by e-mail.
