   Note : SOFT.V32 is a backup file of the Main DataBase File. This File
          is updated ever time SM is started.



Quick start tips

To Upgrade Software Manager ver 1.7 & up.
   
   From the DOS prompt.
   Type INSTALL (enter)
   After Install is complete type C:\SM\SM.EXE to RUN NEW VER.

   Note :  Software Manager is Root SENSITIVE. 
           PLEASE USE Update PROGRAM !!!!
     
   
   TROUBLE SHOOTING 

      If you have any problems with the Install Program, Make shore  
      the Directory "C:\SM" is on your Hard Drive. If not type the  
      following at the DOS Prompt :   C:\MD SM

      The Shareware Concept

      Software Manager is being distributed under the shareware concept.
      There are many advantages to using this method of distribution,
      some of which are:

          o    People can try programs before paying for them to
               determine if they are useful to their needs.

          o    Software authors can be supported directly by the
               users, which keeps software costs down.

      You are granted the right to use this program for a trial period of
      thirty (30) days, at which time you must either stop using the
      program, or pay the registration fee of US $20.00

      Registered users will receive a diskette containing the latest
      version, and will be notified of all future  versions of
      Software Manager .
