Tape Librarian consists of a pair of programs that will allow you to create 
and maintain a complete catalogue of the contents of many backup tapes.

The first program, Catalogue a Tape, will read any CMS JUMBO backup tape and 
add a listing of its contents to the catalogue file. (Still trying to find a 
Trakker to test with!)

The second program, File Finder, accesses the catalogue file and allows you 
to find and restore any directory or file from any catalogued tape.

Tape Librarian will only work with backup tapes created on the Jumbo 120 & 
250 tape drives manufactured by Colorado Memory Systems using CMS's TAPE.EXE 
program, versions' 2.54 and 3.0x. Tape Librarian uses CMS's TAPE.EXE program 
to perform all tape accesses. This ensures that the tapes are not damaged by 
either of the Tape Librarian programs.
